Bose Reception Problem

3 or 4 times per week my radio goes out. Sounds like I drive into an area with no reception, AM, FM or Sirius. All I get is static. If I turn the radio off then on the reception comes back.

Has anyone else had this problem?

FYI - It is not a Bose stereo... only the speakers and a couple of the embedded technologies are Bose... the stereo itself and components are (I think) Panasonic or Pioneer.

I haven't had that problem with FM/AM. Sirius, however, is like listening to one of the first in-dash car CD players...skippidy skip!

Mine goes out for a second all throughout the days randomly...thought it was the Sirius but it happens on Cd's and FM.

If it goes out on the CD, then it's a problem.
