I saw this when I was researching iPOD connections on some of the other threads.

Unfortunately neo hasn't made this product for the CX-7 yet. Go to this link, and put your name on the waiting list. If they see there's enough people interested in it, they'll make a serious attempt to make it for the CX-7. The link to be put on the waiting list is on the bottom of the page below.

I got mine from www.avelectronic.com both of their units work as advertised. They are also making a mobile pc which I love. Pics coming soon.
Nice find GSXR. This is what I am looking for. Is the install easy. I got no experience nor knowledge about mobile audio electronics install so I'll have a pro do it for me. Provide pix and experience. thanx

GSX - I've actually had the site bookmarked for weeks and SAW their gallery (and your car). I'd love to know more details... what your system does exactly (mp3/iPod support? What else?)... how hard was the install... and some pictures man, share some pictures!
:)
Where ya from?

I have seen the video switcher at avelectronics and that seems like the way to go but what about the audio?
Does that handle that too?
I might buy the multi-switch box then have a pro install it, that way I can hook up my (hoping anytime now) widescreen ipod to it.
I guess this might be the way to go for the audio part:

(the advanced one has been in beta since the summer)

We the mobile PC handles MP3s... I don't know all the details, but on another forum GSXR1000 said the audio was handled through FM Modulation (yuck!) -- which seems like a really sub-par solution to me. The unit LOOKS awesome, but I wonder if there's other ways to handle the audio...

The nav interface does handle audio out. It's just the CX-7 inability to accept it. But when the adapter is available I will let everyone know. It will plug straight into the back of the radio and have RCA inputs.
