I love it. I'm especially pleased with the attention apparently paid to the fit and finish of the interior - something my CX seems lacking.

Got my touch up paint about 9 weeks after car purchase.

Eh, aside from the crazy seats, most parts look exactly the same, just different colored. I doubt the quality is any better. Still too much plastic.

Man - I must be getting 'old'... because I just cannot see going-back to a manual transmission. Especially in commuter traffic. I'd much-prefer to throw it in drive and be on my way. I have only engaged that "sport-shift" feature three (3) times since I've owned it, and 2-times were to demonstrate it to friends... the 3rd time was to test the "2nd-gear-only" mode I read about in the manual.

Other than that... no use for it. :D

I'd keep the auto since it can handle the extra power, has a manual mode for fun, and if you feel like being lazy you can.

i know i used to drive a manual and i got tired because of the traffic, since i got the cx-7 i have fun to drive it and sometimes i used the manual mode. Mazda should put the F1 paddles in the stering wheel(sorry if is spell wrong)

Paddles would be sick! :D

I don't like the paddles much. I was driving an RX-8 and cornering hard, and I hit the paddle and upshifted. So much for powering through the corner!

And I think there should be the option to switch between auto and manual on the CX-7. That'd make more sense!
