Hey guys... just wondering, any of you guys buy new wheels yet? If so, I'm interested in buying your wheels. I think they may look better on the MS6.
Thanks,!

I just got my MS3. What size rims are on the MS6? I'm pretty sure the MS3 are 18x7 +52mm offset and 114.3 bolt pattern.

They should be identical in size, width, offset.

I have already planned this for next season. My wife doesn't really care what wheels she has on her car so I figured that next spring I would put the MS3 wheel-tire combo on the MS6 and vice-versa. I too think that the MS3 wheels look better than the MS6 OEM wheels.

If you are thinking of the rims, OEM tires with TPMS, make any offer and I'll consider it. Mine only have about 150 miles on them....

I Have A 2007 Ms3 Sport With Only 200 Miles On It. I Don't Like The 18 Wheels And Tires That Come With It. I Just Don't Like The Way They Look And I Want A Softer Ride On The Freeway. I Am Willing To Sell Them As Wheels With The Stock 215 45 18 Potenza Tires. All Four Of Them Are New With Only 200 Miles. I Want 16 Inch Alloy Wheels And Tires. So If You Want To Buy Mine Or Maybe Trade, Let Me Know. I Live Near Houston, Tx If You Want To Meet. Thanks Much.

Has anyone weighed the MS3's stock rim + tire? Just want to get an idea of what they are. I might try and pick up something wider for the summer but want to make sure I stay within the proper weight.

I read on another forum where someone weighed the wheel and tire together, and the combined weight was ~48 lbs.

Wow, that sounds really heavy. If you subtract the tire weight from that, (http://www.bridgestonetire.com/tireselector/dpp/sizespecs.asp?passproductid=1063) which is 24lbs for the stock tires, that leaves the stock MS3 rims weighing 24lbs. If thats true, then the stock RX-8 rims at 18x8 weigh 1.5 lbs less than the MS3 rims @ 18x7.
I'll verify this weekend, but if this is all true, I'm on my way out for a set of Enkei's that weigh 19lbs and wrapping them in 225/40/18 Falken 615 rubber (drive2)
EDIT: MNAO just called me back and confirmed the stock MS3 wheels indeed weigh 24lbs. Time for some rim shopping!!!!

16's will not fit a speed3
There is a thread on the forum with pics of a MS3 with 16" steelies for winter tires. They will fit, but they won't be easy to find and the clearance between the rim and the calipers will be pretty tight. The member who is running them on his car currently, has not had any problems with the rim contacting the calipers.
