I need help. . .I bought a JDM Turbo Timer off ebay thinking install was easy. But it says something about a Wiring Harness that i cant find for the MSP. Can I just splice? Someone please help me get the turbo timer installed.

check the how to forums....if the cables of your turbo timer are labeled, itll be an easy install by splicing them onto the engine harness

lol Im not sure how your Best Buys are there, but here I wouldnt bring my car in for ANYTHING. (And this is for someone that worked @ both Circuit City and Best Buy as well).
If it were me, I would only bring it into a reputable performance shop in the area or a car electronics only store thats qualified to do turbo timers and other performance related electronics.
Just my opinion, not startin trouble! (peep)

well, if it has a few wires on it that are labeled (in the manual or on the unit itself) it won't be that hard.
just follow this thread (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9965).

it still cost you $50 though .... when it could've been done for free by yourself.

remember to cut the white and blue cable(?) on the alarm thingy in the back seat so that you can arm the alarm while the turbo timer is on,
otherwise, you won't be able to, and will have to wait until after the engine shuts off by itself

Actually that blue/white wire only allows you to lock the doors with the remote while the car is running. To arm the alarm also while running, you must cut some wires near the alarm module under the dash (cant remember which ones though).

did you cut the wire blue/white wire under the rear shelf? that will allow you to lock the car while the car is running. to arm the alarm, you need to go under the dash near the clutch to find the alarm box. cut the orange wire and put some electrical tape at the ends.
