B&G suspension

Hey guys! So I work right down the street from B&G suspension and I've been talking with a guy over there about developing coilovers for the car. However, he needs to know how much interest there is out there for doing this because it would be too expensive for them to develop it and have nobody who wanted to buy it. So can we start a list of people who would be interested in this? Thanx :)

great guys! so he said that there is a chance that they may start on this during the beginning of next year. i will keep you guys updated on what's going on.

Coilovers do what exactly? how does this affect the ride/handling? whats the reason do this upgrade?

coilovers improve the handling of the car. You can also lower you car with the coilovers. Of course you can lower your car with just replacing the springs, but then you run into the problem of possibly (most likely) blowing out your shocks, in which case you would have to get new ones. Coilovers are basically a set of shocks and coils; the coils are designed for the shocks and are made for performance (e.g. cornering etc).

You can also adjust the stiffness of the ride by adjusting the screw at the top of the coilovers. This would be necessary for people who go to track (like me) and need a harder ride for the track. Then we can switch it to a softer ride (less jarring bumps) for the freeway and street driving.
