I am selling a Haltech E6X with extras. This unit was originally jrodhotrod's. I have never gotten a chance to use since I bought it from him back in July so everything I have is in the same condition as I bought it from him.
I copied this from jrodhotrod's original post.
Here is what you get:
- Haltech E6X
- Protege Wiring Harness
- Additional input wire in the harness for running closed loop off of the stock narrowband sensor or a wideband sensor
- 3 Bar Map Sensor
- Haltech Boost Controller
- NEW Air Temperature Sensor
- NEW Coolant Temperature Sensor
- Coolant Temperature Sensor Housing and SAMCO Upper Radiator Hose (works with MSP and Protege)
- 4 RC 440 CC Injectors (I think they are actually Bosch injectors, not RC 440)
- 2 Haltech Trim Control knobs (Authentic Haltech knobs, I used one for boost and one for fine fuel control, an excellent gas saver)
- Printed manuals, install instructions
- Serial cable for PC connection
The Haltech worked flawlessly well installed and everything is in excellent shape. I have put loom across all of the harness to replace some that was worn.
The trim knobs are fantastic. You can map the Haltech boost controller for any range of boost and just a turn of the knob gets you there. I had mine mapped for 7psi (stock) up to 14psi. Turning the knob got you from high to low or anywhere in between.
The second trim knob worked great for me as a fine fuel control knob. Using that I was able to achieve better freeway mileage on long trips than I did with factory EMS by running just a little lean 15.1-15.5. It's a great feature, as long as you use it responsibly. Leaving this enabled could make it easy for you to run too lean, but the feature is easily disabled by disconnecting the knob or turning it off in the Haltech software.
The map that is on there currently will start and idle your car, but I can almost guarantee it that you will need to tune it for your specific application. There are many folks on here who would be willing to share maps with you and I can give you any additional maps I have gotten a hold of.
Halwin software is available from Haltech's website and it works great. I was able to interface with a windows XP laptop using a USB to Serial converter without problems as my laptop had no serial port.

I am asking for the same price $1100 shipped.
