If i get a EBC would I still need a boost gauge, i was wondering if an EBC tells you what PSI your running.

sure do. i dont know a single ebc that reads in psi. unless u get the aem tru boost. its a gauge n controller all in one.

So a Greddy Profec B II would elminate the gauges? Would I need the gauges to know my psi?

the greddy does not read boost. you have to calculate percentages to get the proper boost setting. and the only way to read that setting is with a good boost gauge.

The greddy profec B2 reads vaccum and boost, it also gives u peak boost

numbers as well(bar instead of psi). But i wouldnt use it as a boost guage

though.

My Greddy Profec b Spec 2 read 5.5 psi on stock settings, this number seemed reasonable to me so I use it for my boost gauge. I only run 8 psi, so even if it is out a psi or two Im not worried. Its a good ebc after figuring out the adjustments.

I was looking at the AEM boost controller/gauge but the gauge looks like it doesnt show the psi where it is at, when I enlarge the picture it doesnt show what psi its holding. Does anybody have a picture this

To set the desired boost level you use a percentage of the turbo, but the output reading is available in psi and bars.
