I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on replacement wastegate options for running 10psi or less?

Best quality? Bang for buck?

Lets hear it!

Search.

ATP Turbo sells Garrett replacements for various pressures. I have the 6psi as do many other people.

I was stock about 6psi. The 6psi wastegate act. put me at 8. Thats a nice little bump if you don't plan on doing any tuning any time soon.

FWIW i only saw about 1 psi increase with my mods and the ATP 6psi wga vs stock.

Unless your wastegate took the big crap, I would suggest exhuast, FMIC, and maybe the DSM afc to up the psi 1 or 2 and make boost a little safer than the oem setup. My Speed with, custom FMIC, SRI, 3' catback no cats, runs a steady 8ish almost 9psi depending on weather (soon to install SU P&P intake manifold). Also, with these mods you have the ability to further upgrade the speed and with all the msp closet skeletons, kinda feel a wee bit safer engine performance wise(ughdance)

well i had to replace the wastegate, it wasn't really a performance mod just something to get my car running right. And my 1 PSI increase was with my FMIC, midpipe, intake....
