motor mounts wont affect your shifting bro, try changing your tranny fluid, the most popular are

redline mt90
gm syncromesh
royal purple

i personally have redline mt90 in my ride and my shifting is sooo much smoother now, the protege tranny sucks though man, you will always have a somewhat notchy shift, that fluid helps out a ton though

well if the motor moves it also moves the shifter link. You can try the front and rear.

im thinking motor mounts might help cause when i go over speed bumps at random time it will go in SOOOOO smooth...so im thinking something aligns itself and...yea idk i think i know what im talking about

dude with your mods you should have them on your car anyway, the front and rear should definatly be on there..

It had the MM's, but I robbed them off the car when I traded it in :)
