Anyonr having a problem with Nav not switching day/night mode?

On user settings you can select auto where at night the nav background is black, and during the day its a light background. Well, mine does not switch from day to night mode when its on auto, I have to manually go in there and change it each time...its quite annoying.

Has this happened to anyone else? Have you had it fixed?

One thing to check:

On the left-side of the instrument cluster is the dash illumination dimmer - opposite the trip odometer.

It adjusts the intensity of the dash lights - BUT... if you PUSH it in, it toggles between the normal dash lighting and a "bright" setting which will leave the NAV (and the dash) bright even under night conditions set to auto.

Check that first.
