I was just wondernig how many of you store you MSP for the winter. If you do what are some things you do to it before you store? For example: wash, wax, remove battery? What are some good things to do to while you are not driving it for so long. Like how often should you start her up? I am just looking for some awnsers before i i put her up for the winter.
thanks

This will be the 3rd winter I have stored the car and each time I did the following. Stored in a non-heated garage each winter.
oil change before storing
check fluids and top off any that are low (so far nothing has been low)
wash, wax
full tank of gas
remove all 4 tires and put on blocks (store tires in basement)
remove batteryEach spring I recharge the battery, put the wheels back on and basically drove away
This winter I want the option of working on the car, so I plan on keeping the tires on and battery in. I will need to run the car from time to time and I will be doing some suspension work on it over the winter.

Put fuel stabilizer in and make sure you run the car to get the treated fuel in the system...I put a bottle in prior to fill up and drive back which is enough.

I had gas in my car for almost a year and it started up and ran just fine after. I did not have too much in there, so it was quickly replaced but it really shouldn't be a problem if it's just a couple months.
