Yes. One works, the other doesn't.

I had the type s Knock off. Worked for a little while, then would leak. It didn't even sound anything like the real type s. I changed it out with a real greddy type s, and threw the knock off out. Spend the money and get a real one. Cant go cheap on everything.:)

Don't go cheap, the BOV is more likely to fail, and chances are it wasn't designed correctly, and may not hold pressure like it should.

the diaphragm in the knock off will fail horribly.

Its catch 22. I got one that works great. No problems or anything wrong. Others however arent so lucky.

I had a type s knock off, I ran it on 8psi for a while, it held good. Anything over though, it would leak. Even later on it would leak at idle.

it does sound badass, if you arent above 10psi though it isn't going to be that grat on your car. i have a greddy s now but once I get above 12 psi I am going to the RFL. my buddy has one on his 16 psi SRT and it is so nice.

let me know where you get the flange I picked one up from a member to play around with, but I haven't sourced a flange. much appreciated.

why put a part you know is going to fail on your car?

Don't go cheap with turbo parts unless you want to buy them price. There's a reason they're expensive, and it's not because the dealers are marking them up.
