Apparently the 2007s don't come with this. Do you know if they will still fit, and if so, what the price would be?
This is the tray that sits above the spare tire, under the hatch floor.

You may want to verify this with your local dealer because all 07 5dr's should have this part. If they say "no they don't" then just call Mazda customer service and I am sure they will change there tune.

I am basing this off of someone's test drive of a Mazdaspeed3. He stated that during his inspection, he noted that it was not included.
My car will be in this week or next, so I can confirm for myself. Maybe the salesman will throw one in for me if it's not there...

I just checked with my lead salesman and as far as he knows every 07 Mazda3 5dr comes with the package tray. I will do some more digging maybe the MS3 is special.

"Maybe" it's special??!!?? J/K.
I'll try to check on the boards with the people who have taken delivery in the US - I'm sure they'll take a peek in their trunks.

The Mazdaspeed3 does not come with the tray. Based on the size of the spare, 17", I don't think the tray would fit anyway.

I think we are talking about different trays. I think that you are talking about a rubber cargo tray/liner. I thought you where talking about the package tray that covers the cargo area when the hatch is shut.

No, not the rubber cargo liner. That is a $50 option. I am talking about the tray that was to be above the spare tire, below the floor of the back hatch area.
I picked up my MS3 on Friday, and it is not there. The spare for the MS3 is a 17" wheel, so I am assuming it was left out of the MS3 due to space constraints.

I see, your talking about the trunk tray board like thingy in the 07 M3 5dr GT. You are correct in why the MS3 does not have that tray.

the ms3 also have braces mounted on the side of the wheel well to the trunk floor...it acts kind of like a rear strut bar.... maybe that's another reason why they didn't put it in.... but its most obvious that its for weight and cost savings

Can you still check on prices for the trunk tray board? I may try to custom-fit it into the MS3. Also, how much for the trunk floor that folds in half to access the tray?
Thanks!

Right - this is a diagram of the MS3. I want to replace items 68-695 and 68-822Y from the picture above with the corresponding items found in the non-turbo Mazda3 Hatchback.

I'm interested in the same item. Has anyone been able to make this work in a MS3?
