Hey, I was just over my friend's house tonight drinkin' and whatnot and got into a conversation about fabricating shit blah blah...long story short, my car is in pieces and I am thinking about having him fab up a manifold for our cars. I am going to give him my mani as soon as I can...anyone interested in this? He is very interested in doing the work, so I would assume this could be done in a short? period of time. Let me know what you guys think.

Honestly, I believe that as long as I can get him the stock mani as a guide, he can do whatever you would like. I am not promising anything as of yet, just seeing if there is interest first. Since my car is in pieces right now though, this would be the perfect time. I was thinking a replacement for the stock mani with the same flange, but I'm sure other flanges could be put on if wanted. I have yet to work out any details though. He is on vacation until this saturday, just checking if I should even give him the stock mani for him to make a design from. I was thinking something similar to the mental addiction tubular mani. Depends what people want though. Basically he wants some work, and I would LOVE to provide something for this community. Everyone on here has been a great help, there's a wealth of info here. Just anyone that would be interested let me know. I'm not sure on the price point yet either. Like I said, it will be after saturday when I talk to him next. I just don't know if there's a good level of interest or not.

theres actually one or two other people persuing this same idea right now. There was a good deal of interest shown in their pursuits. But i mean, if you can come up with a well-priced option, competition never hurt us consumers!!

EDIT: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123644729 That ought to help give you an idea of the interest.

Alright, I'm going to pick up my mani from the shop today and bring it to him to take a look at.

We are also sourcing custom fabricators to make manifolds for the FSDE. It wont be a direct swap to accomodate the stock piping since it will be completely custom and for people looking for power. But they can make the downpipe, all needed will be a custom job to mount the downpipe to your exhaust pipe.

We currently have 3 fabricators with prices ranging from $450 to $700. So we have backup just in case one gets behind or short on parts.

All made in cast iron ( no stainless steel, it sucks for daily use specially in places where usually rains )

1st pic is the new manifold being fabricated and measured with a T3/T4. (sorry for the pic quality, its a cellphone picture)
2nd pic is the 600whp fsde with another manifold
3rd pic is the manifold used in the 2nd pic.

That's a sweet engine pic in the 2nd pic...I'm hoping to just have a stock replacement for those who would like to make more power/have a nice look but not for outrageous amounts of cash.

I believe Yashart is also looking into sourcing some FSDE turbo manifolds....the more choices the better!

I apologize to everyone on here, but I think my car is going back together too soon for this to happen. I will keep you all posted on what the deal is.
