Wheel offset on MS3

I have been searching and can't find the wheel offset on the Mazda Speed 3. I asked the dealer where I bought the car and still pending for an answer. It's weird how they can miss out on this information.

The RX-8 wheels seems to sit flush on the Mazda 3 with the 18x8 225/45/18with 60mm offset (correct me if I'm wrong).

Actually the offset is 52.5mm according to Mazda USA. Here is the e-mail that they sent me:

In regards to your question, the wheel and tire specifications for the
2007 MAZDASPEED3 are:

Wheel size
18x7J

Offset
52.5mm {2.07in}

Pitch circle diameter
114.3 mm {4.50}

Tire size
215/45R18 93Y

I'm planning to put 18x8.5 with the 50 offset with the 215/45/18 or maybe even 225/45/18. What do you guys think?

The RX-8 stock rim size is 18x8 +50mm offset 114.3 bolt pattern. RX-8 stock tire size 225/45/18. They will fit the MS3. In fact, I'll be using my stock RX-8 rims with dunlop wintersport m3s on them as winter rims/tires in those sizes. Make sure to check the rim weight if you are getting new rims. I'm not sure what the stock MS3 rims weigh, the stock RX-8 rim weighs 22.5lbs.

since you guys have MS3s and are discussing wheel fitment...if anyone has a ruler, would someone be so kind as to take the measurements i asked for in my other thread (strut body to inner fender lip, front and rear)? i'd appreciate it.
