a while ago my ABS and brake light came on and this has happened before but that was due to my front brakes needed changing. so i changed the rear brakes but they're still on... any ideas whats wrong with them?

maybe try bleeding the brakes or adding more fluid. just a guess. lol, did you say your front brakes needed to be changed so you replaced the rear brakes or changing both didn't solve the problem? I wish I had more to offer. good luck

Check your brake fluid level.

You may have unplugged one of the ABS sensor wires also.

double check your fluid also, could be too much or not enough. GL

story is.. on a road trip one time the ABS and brake light came on... we saw the front pads were a little thin so i changed those. The light went off. months later it came on again and i heard squealing from the rears. I changed those but the brake lights has yet to turn off.
Thanks i'll double check the bake fluid see if its low.

If you have recently changed your pads you should check your fluid level. It will most likely be too high because at some point I hope you topped it off once it started getting low (because the pads were getting low).
