I noticed in some of the recent pics I've seen. That the heated seats that used to be standard on this model. Had no switches inside the car to turn them on and off. I then rechecked the mazda site and low and behold, heated seats are off the list of features. Not a deal breaker but one of those somewhat nice features I would have liked to have.

I was actually looking forward to that as an option. Cold cars are horrible to ride in for the first few minutes.

^^ I've never experienced heated seats that heated up fast enough to really do anything before the engine got warmed up.

lol I just checked my spec sheet and you guys are right. Heated seats will not be an option. Im curious though to see if the wiring is still there or not for the heated seats....

I dunno I actually like mazda's heated seats. They are cold to toasty in about 1-2 minutes... IMHO thats fast. Hell, I use em even when its summer...

that's really odd then. Why should the GT Speed3 be less lux than the GT 3? Shouldn't call it GT if it's going to skimp on the "touring car" stuff.

lol it is probably for weight savings.
you should be too busy holding for dear life on to your seat to be cold.

much like how the MSP has thinner windshield glass and mazda saved like a few grams shaving weight on the new MX-5 rearview mirror.. freakin weird weight savings areas if you ask me.

Actually, saving weight with thinner glass is pretty common.

just like the MSPs getting stress cracks in the glass is QUITE common. I just wonder why they didn't do composite or aluminum hood/trunk/suspension like nissan loves doing. When my mom's altima is 100 pounds more than an MSP and it's huge and has a 3.5V6.. yeah lol.

The MS6 heated seats get REAL hot REAL quick! I imagine that if they were offered on the MS3 they would use the same ones.

I like heated seats until they stop working correctly and stay on all the time... My moms audi had that problem some days in the summer
