Hey!
I currently have a Corksport catback system installed on my car. I know this is a 2.5" line....
Now im looking to change the muffler and im about to buy a mazdaspeed exhaust (the one with the round tip).
My question is: will it fit ??????
If so ill be glad and buy the Mazdaspeed exhaust, if not any suggestions ???
Thx alot !!!

You'll need to weld the Mazdaspeed muffler to the Corksport exhaust.

How loud is the mazdaspeed exhaust??? gotta be less noisy than the corksport one....
...and lastly, will the mazdaspeed exhaust cause a loss of persormance due to the smaller size????

Its not too loud, just a nice tone. It will decrease hp, since its a bit smaller in diameter, but I doubt it'll be a noticable difference. I think it looks better than the CC muffler... I wish I still had my MP3 axleback.

I have the CS exhaust bolted to the stock MSP muffler section. I ran it both ways with the CS muffler and the MSP mullfer and noticed no difference in power. The difference with the MSP muffler is pure sound and I love it. The flanges are the same so you shouldnt have any issues bolting it up.

mmm... different opinions but i guess ill trust you hypnotized since you seem to have the very same setup i want...
Just to recap, you have the Corksport exhaust with a Mazdaspeed muffler and it fits fine right ?! Is it the one with the round tip ???
Thx alot !!!

Yes, I have the CS exhaust with my stock MSP muffler section. The flanges are exact so you wont have any fitment issues. I can assure you that. The muffler I have is the one with the oval tip. That CS muffler was way to loud for me. I really cant imagine how much power is lost by using the stock muffler but I can tell you that you wont notice it at all.
