I'm fairly certain i won't get a response from MAM directly on this, so i thought i'd ask some of the other forum members....
i've had a bit of a problem with my MAM fmic kit, specifically with the sri intake. Its kinda long at doesn't have any bracing point besides where the coupler attatches to the turbo. The location of the air filter ended up rubbing against my cold side pipe and starting to eat through the powdercoat...... once i realized that, i zip tied one of the hose clamps near the MAF to the old hotside inlet from the stock SMIC, which seemed to give it clearance, however the silicone couplers eventually just shifted so its back to the same problem.
I noticed on a pic of someone elses, i think rush's car, that their intake is alot shorter, and places the filter completely differently!! So, does anyone else have the same problem as me?? Have they found solutions?? Or if you don't, would you mind sharing a pic??
