AFC and Emmissions [Archive]

Does anyone know, if you can be running your msp with the DSM AFC and still be able to pass state emissions tests?

Thats a good question and since I am hoping to get one of these AFC's for Christmas I would like to know the answer to this as well.

since the tests are done are cruising speed not WOT, the car shouldn't be in boost so the AFC shouldn't be altering the signal at all.

Even if it did, you could just install a swicth to turn it off, I think it allows a straight through bypass when powered down.
