I only sell the Mazda manuals These are the same things that my techs use in the shop, hence the price.

You have a shop manual which will give you info on every system on the vehicle.

The wiring diagram- as name implies

Engine manual- this is the book that will help you the most to rebuild the engine.

Trans manual- same as above but for the trans.

Good deal. I wasn't thinking overpriced. That is an excellent price for that book. Back when I was looking it was almost $100. Hmm.

That was probably back when they where actually producing them. Now it is more of a supply and demand type thing.

They are currently not showing a dedicated manual for the 2.0L engine. I have a call into Mazda to make sure of the situation.

The situation is
1- a very low demand item so it is call in only
or
2- a low demand item and they are no longer available.

I have such a manual. It's about 50 pages thick, and it has a green cover. Look for manuals for older mazdas with the FS motor.

The engine manual is only concerning the FS series engine.

The workshop manual has info on every system on the car and is primarily for Diagnostics and simple R&R.

Just out of curiosity, Bagman1, does the shop manual contain torque specifications for suspension items (i.e. struts, control arms, et.c) and other parts of the car (wheel lug nuts)?
