recently, i have been noticing my ebrake light comes on at random times. what could cause this? it mainly comes on when i round a corner or brake at a harder than usual amount. any ideas?? (peep)

You need new brakes, My was doing that..So I changed the bakes and it stop doing it...

Someone once told me, you should change brakes Once a year...not much ppl do tho...

When Mine was doing it, I only changed the front on it, but a year later I changed all 4

lol I asked this same question a week or 2 back but I already KNEW that I needed brakes, just didnt know the light was associated with it.
anyway yeah, change your brakes.... should fix it.

Anyone have some suggestions on what brakes to go with? And in your opinion do i need to change all four?

Just an off the wall question, have you checked your brake fluid? I just added some to mine and i havent seen the light. Maybe i havent stopped as hard either. Let you know some more updates tomorrow. Its raining hella crazy over here.

Yeah, when brake fluid is low it WILL come on. It may do it when u need new pads, but not all the time.

my fluid level hasnt altered since ive had the car, i think it may be time for new pads. *uses the search button to find the best pads*

I have the Posi-Quiets from HPFreaks, and they seem to be holding just fine under hard braking and long use.

Posi-Quiets, Is the way to go..I have all 4 and they work great...you can buy them on ebay for likr $80 ..Dont never by them from Mazda...

after i washed my car i checked my brake fluid and my brake pads....my fluid is low but not at the minimum level and i still have rouhgly half my pads...maybe i should add some brake fluid? should it be "full" at all times?
