Hi! I am new to this forum, and i wanted to inform you of the arrival of the msp3 in Montréal. In fact 57 msp3 have arrived yesterday in Montréal for the 57 dealers across the province...that's right only one msp3 for each dealer(shocked) .I will have mine prepared and ready for early next week. I'm so glad that i ordered mine back in april and to be the first in line, because the waiting list has been growing very long here.(pissed)
I'll be in touch...excited

Are they calling them MPS 3's in French Canada? How very un-North American of them. Anyway, congrats and enjoy. We're only just getting them to the dealers on the West Coast US now. They've had 'em for a week or so in Western Canada. Let us know how you like and be sure to post some pix!

Wow, I didn't think that my mistake on the name of the ms3 (not msp3 like we call it on french mazdaspeed 3 forums) would cause such reactions! Anyways some of you understood that I was talking about the mazdaspeed 3 and for the others, thank you for your warm welcome.
I will be glad to post some pics and driving impressions as I will be driving it by next saturday.

Well there it is!!!
A legend is born...I got my ms3 48 hrs ago and I am crazy about it. This car is so much fun to drive you don't want to leave the driver's seat. Last evening I went for my first real test drive with it and it totally blew my mind...this car will give you more than you expect of it. The acceleration is so great, the first thing I knew was that I was doing 185 km/h (115 mph) on a country side road with bumps and hill and the car was so stable it was amazing. The braking is precise and smooth and the car never feels awkward nor unbalanced. The interior is impecable for a car at this price tag. Here in Canada we have the model with the cloth seat but with all of the accessories of the grand touring model except for the navigation.
Enjoy the pics!!!(ughdance)

Nice car man. Makes me kinda jealous, I was going to get one but caved on the wait and got an MS6. Don't get me wrong, I love the MS6, but having a smaller hatch with the same engine must be just nuts! Where in Qc are you?

I got my tinted windows directly from the mazda dealer (500$)...the front windows were tinted also ( not legal but tolerated by the police).
To answer OttawaP5, I live in a suburb about 20 minutes north west from Montreal.
I also bought the rearview mirror with electrochromatic gizmo and compass ($275). And for the winter, I bought a set of 17" rims (yes they fit on the ms3) with some high performance Toyo Garit Kx winter tires ($1200). They gave me the wheel locks, cargo net, rear bumper protection kit and mats.
I chose to lease the ms3 because I own two companies and the ms3 is a tax deductable asset. So the price for it was around $35 000 can. including taxes and all the equipment decribed above. This add ups to about $590/month on a 48 month lease with no cash down.

Could you tell me if you bought winter rims or 17" mazda 3 regular rims for the winter tires ?
As I will be putting the same tires but I'm waiting on a confirmation from my dealer as if the rims fit or not on it.
I will be getting mine the 23rd, the dealer wanted to keep it for an extra week to display it in the showroom. In exchange I get free accessories and I can get extra accessories and the winter tires/rim combo for the cost price.
Thanks
David

I wanted the fancy elctrochromatic mirror, but my dealer told me it would not work with the auto lights and auto wipers.
I assume your auto lights and wipers still work. If that is the case I will call the dealer and have them put it on when my ipod adapter comes in.
I still need the winter tires, what size did you get, I assume 215-50-17?
Thanks

My winter rims are from the mazda dealer .They are basic black steel winter rims 225/45r17 and i am putting some 17" wheel covers over them. I did not want to buy some mag wheels for winter since the snow tend to build up easily on them and cause vibrations.
