Revised Signature Rule!

RULE: Listing links in your signature to unauthorized vendor websites, stores, forums and any form of contact information is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized vendors can only be displayed in your signature as default text (size 2 max) or in a "Mod list" image as default text (size 2 max). Default text means you can only use a font from the message options menu (ex: Verdana, size 2). A list of current Authorized Vendors and Approved Merchant Members can be found in the Authorized Vendor Directory (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5496).
Current Authorized Vendor (AV) and Approved Merchant Member (AMM) links, banner ads and urls are allowed in your signature.

Q: What the hell?
A: Yes, you must remove any link in your signature related to an unauthorized vendor or vendor forum on Mazda Forums!
NOTE for "censored" URLs: Spelling out the URL like so "unauthorized(dot)com" or "unauthorized(at)vendor(dot)com" is strictly prohibited.
Q: Why?
A: Because AVs and AMMs support this community in many ways! Unauthorized Vendors DO NOT support this community. It's that simple.
Q: How do I know who the AVs and AMMs are?
A: Easy, AVs must have this title above their avatar: Authorized Vendor
AMMs must have this title above their avatar: Approved Merchant Member
Also, check our authorized directory (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5496) to stay updated on current AVs and AMMs!
Q: What if I'm a total vendor groupie and I can't live without having some unauthorized vendor plastered all over my sig?
A: First...Get a life. Second...You will be warned. If you ignore that warning you will be temporally banned and your sig will be edited for you.
Q: What about having an unauthorized vendor url above my avatar (user applied title)?
A: Same rule applies...Only current AV or AMM URLs!
Q: So you can't list mods you have for vendors that aren't on the forums?
A: Only as default text (size 2 max) or in a "Mod list" image as default text (size 2 max). It is acceptable if the vendor is primarily a manufacturer and not a dealer or vendor. For example...Listing "Eibach springs" or "Perrin FMIC" is fine.
Q: Does this rule apply to general posting?
A: As long as your trying to help someone or provide useful information, it's ok. WARNING: Any reference from an unauthorized vendor employee, associate or representative about an unauthorized vendor is strictly prohibited.
Anyone who is soliciting unauthorized sales with no regard to our AV/AMM system will be banned for life if they ignore the first warning.
Moderators: Reference posts must be deleted on site and a warning issued. If the warning is ignored, the accused will receive a 1 month ban. A Permanent ban will be served if the 1 month ban is ineffective.
Q: Can we link to our own FS threads?
A: Of course you can...It's your own FS thread. Make sure you're following the FS rules!
Q: What if I have a Show or Race Mazda and an official sponsor?
A: An exception can be made for those who are truly committed to the Mazda "scene". Documented proof of the sponsorship is required! Please contact me for further details.
