?Powdercoated Spicy Orange Konig 17" Rims!

Hey All, looking for opinions...
I'm about to purchase 17" Konig Sideways, check em out:

So i was debating whether I should put em on as is, or have them powdercoated
the same spicy orange as my MSP? (uhm)

Yea i was questioning that myself...do i need to look into spacers or something? offset should be what? 45?

No don't paint them...as far as offset I think you may be ok with the sedan. According to Rishie the hatch should have at least a +42 offset and the sedan can run smaller due to more clearance room in the rear fenders.

Alright cool...so the wheels are 17x7, 40 offset, and the tires i will use will be 215/45/17. I should be cool right? Thanks man!

I was just looking at these rims myself... I'd stick with the black on it but the powdercoating idea is not bad for a Spicy Orange, just not with those wheels

yea man, these rims look sick the way they come...also i got quotes for doing the custom powdercoating job and its 125 a wheel!! what size you gonna get them in? im gettin 17's for 680$ and just plan on using stock tires, 215-45-17...ill post pics when/if i get em...

you won't want to go wider than 205 tires if your offset is only +40mm

unless you don't mind having the fenders rolled if you rub

nah i think im just gonna save the money and get some springs so there wont be so much of a gap...i think the black will look nice. buy your intercooler? oh man, im guessing youre from that other thread...is that intercooler stright bolt on? or do i have to do modifications, get new pipes...etc?

yeah, you'll need new pipes. but people buy stock msp stuff all the time:)

I say dont coat them with the spicy.....it'll look awful. Justlook at the VW Beatles with the paint matching wheels.

I want to do 18's but I just dropped the car with Sprint springs so even with the stock rims and my system in the trunk the rears are tucked in the wheel wells. I'll probably just stick with the stock size for that reason
