Drain plugs on doors

Do you guys have those white plastic drain plug things at the bottom of your doors....drains water out? My Dad says he thinks they were suppose to remove them but I think there's holes in them and they are suppose to be left on.

Yeah, those are the drains, and they are supposed to stay on. I asked my dealer about that in july when I bought the car, and thats what he told me. They do make the door look like some kind of beauty strip was supposed to be there, don't they?
