Do the odometers really show 220 on 02 p5's? If this is true Ill assume its just for show and not possible for a P5 to go 220.

Also it is called a speedometer not an odometer
Also cars can never go as fast as the speedometer shows stock. Higer number gauges dont add power/speed, boost,....ect.

I was gonna say... you would need like 10 gears to get going that fast with an FS engine. hehehe

Also cars can never go as fast as the speedometer shows stock. Hey, i used to pin the speedo on my old 82 Volvo 240 DL all the time.
85mph BABY! Pretty sure I got it up to around 90 or so, but never could tell for sure.
It was a manual transmission with no tach. (ughdance) Apparently the makers decided that a huge clock face would look better next to the speedometer. I don't even know what it redlined at. Good times.

'01 MP3/MSP's transmission are set up so that, even with oversized wheels/tires and the longest final gear available, you'll only hit about 144mph. And there's a lot of power needed for that, to overcome stock drag. I don't think I've heard of anyone here getting over 136mph. I've gotten to 136 on the track, and with my slightly smaller diameter stock tires, I was about 250 rpm from redline. Though there are a lot of cars out there that can't get to the top speed indicated. The Mini Cooper comes to mind.

My bike gets to 136 (electronically limited) pretty quick. =) I accedentally did it passing some dickhead on 280. I wouldn't suggest doing this on the roads, highway or not.

Upgrade to a GSXR 1000, you'll bust 180 if you're not careful (ughdance)

I used to have a 1994 ford explorer, speedo only went to 90 or 95, I had it pegged 2 inches past that, almost back to zero.
I wonder how fast I was going?
