How well does everyone else's here remotes do for range on arming and unarming your car? Mine seems to only want to respond half the times that I push it and only within like 20 feet from the car. Just wondering if this is normal or if it should work better than that?

With the stock keyfob I have, it will work from about 100 feet away or so. Sometimes I'll unlock it, and it'll lock back up before I get there, which is 30 seconds.

That is crazy! I wonder if my sensors are just going to shit then or if I was blessed with a bad remote. . .

Well I got my car in February 05 and my first keyfob went dead after about 2 months, and it wasn't the battery. A new battery still didn't get it working, yet I never took it back to Mazda, lol. My backup keyfob has worked as good as it does now, ever since I started using it. It'll lock/unlock my car now from where my desk is. The car is about 80 feet away and there is a wall in the way, lol.
