View Full Version : Looking at a new Mazda 3 Help me plz

I am looking into purchasing a new car in the next couple of months. I am serisouly contemplating the mazda 3 seeing as my previous car was a protege and i loved it.

But i had a couple of questions that i was hoping you guys could answer for me

My protege was a show car - I cant stand the show thing - I want a car that is daily driveable with good all around performance.

So here it goes - is there any reason not to go with a 2.3l manual? im looking to do suspension work as in strut/sway bars/shocks/struts/springs and a medium amount of engine work - the car will be a daily driver but i want to pull some extra power out of it - just a nice streetable car

as for aesthetic mods really just looking at a grill ... maybe some rims - or rx-8 wheels i really like the way that looks

so in the end is a 2.3l the way to go? or is there any reason i should be getting a 2.0?

man, my buddy has a 2.3 with intake, and a full exhaust from the header back. car runs really good, and still maintains awesome gas mileage. but i heard parts for the 2.3 are kinda pricy compared to the 2.0. but id recomend the 2.3.

The MS3 will be available starting sometime in the next month or so (or so the rumors go).

haha nice photochop (or maybe photochop find) there nate...

also, those are nice rims, might look really good in bronze on my ms3...anyone know what kind they are??
