And yes Puckpimp, it did come in a few days early! Crazy though, I just out of the blue decided to apply for the loan through my credit union this past wednesday and just got the check in the mail today... along with the call from the dealership that the 5 was delivered. Talk about luck with good timing!

I didn't drive my 5 this past weekend. With only 100 miles on the odo I didn't want to add another 300 highway miles, not broken in yet. I did however get pretty wasted at my wife's college homecoming (drunk) (drinks)

I'll probably get tint. IMO it actually doesn't look that bad without it in person, but yeah, it could still use it. If I get it, I'm gonna get 30% all around the back and 50% on the fronts.

Do you have factory SIRIUS or aftermarket? I activated last night, but there's some glitch with the latest channel update that's screwing me up. I've been in touch with my dealership and SIRIUS to no avail, so far. I'll keep on them. Dealership claims a service bulletin for the problem is expected soon.

How much are locking nuts? I never considered them for stock alloys, but if the price is right... I dunno, maybe.

Congrats on the new 5. Looks just like mine... except much much cleaner. :)

Locking lug nuts are cheap, only about $25 from the dealership's parts department.

You definitely should go for the tint. It adds a nice contrast to the pearl white paint.

My Sirus is an external (portable) unit which I can take in the house. As for the lock nuts 25 US sounds right...well worth it as a 5 without wheels makes it a trailer.

I'll have to post a pic of my factory DVD at some point too. Everything's located in the ceiling unit, the screen, actual player, and even an extra dome light. While there's no Dolby sound channel separation, the fact that speakers surround you gives a tasty surround sound effect.

Yep, I ordered mine May 25th and got it September 29th, so that looks about right for you, all thing being equal.

Here's my DVD System... it's the Mazda OEM system. I'm pretty happy with it, I actually haven't tried the battery operated wireless headsets yet. Supposedly when they're turned on, sound will channel through them automatically, otherwise it's FM Modulated to 88.3 FM. The disc input is self-contained, and just barely out of this shot, on the top. Has a nice comprehensive remote, too.

The whitish strip in the middle is a dome light that comes on with opening the doors. Those domes are actually nice and bright.
