Hey guys just writing to let everyone know about this Panasonic amp that I saw on Etronics.com. I read about this amp and saw it on the Panasonic website and thought it sounded like a good amp. I figuered why not its only 99$. Well to make a long story short I bought it for 113.71 with shipping on etronics. Other than my rockford fosgate this is the best amp I've owned. I have it powering my preimer spl 10's. All I can say is WOW! The model # is CY-PA2003U. Check it out!

i find it a little strange that if you google for "CY-PA2003U", you will only come up with some budget-dealer links and 1 link on the panasonic website... no one else talks about the amp (poke)

First off where did it say that I googled for this amp? Secondly, I said I saw it on the panasonic website. Thirdly, I never said that anyone else talks about the amp. Thats the only reason I put this thead in here, because no one else has rated this amp and there are no reviews on it. I just wanted to let the budget minded people know about a decent amp at a good price. But thanks for the input.

wow. relax hombre. he said if you(general) look it up in google, it only shows up in those places. He didn't say it sucks. Then again, you think rockford fosgate is good.

Yeah, I think rockford makes a good amp. To me when you have an amp that lasts more than 10 years and has powered everything from a set of components to a kicker 15, and have no problem at all, then yeah, that makes it a good amp. It also was left outside in the winter when I moved from my apartment to my house. And to this day it kicks butt. I bet you think legacy makes a good amp.

Ive always been happy with kicker. I had a kicker impulse amp back in the day, it kicked butt. To bad kicker amps are so damn expensive. As far as alpine, Ive never owned anything, but a friend of mine had a alpine v12 for his subs and liked it very much.

replace "if you google" with "if one googles"... that should make it clear, i tried to come up with some info on the amplifier, maybe a review, maybe some forum thread..nothing :ß that surprises me because 2x200rms for 99$ can be well spent money.

I would have to hear it to make an opinion. I am sure it was worth $113 if it makes you happy.
Rockford used to make some kickass amps... I was happy with my Kicker. I am currently beyond happy with the Fultron! :)

I think I'm the first one to buy this amp. But I think its great for the money. In the owner manual it says it makes 460x1 when bridged. Thats the way I have it working.

Rockford used to make some awesome amps. My first experience with them was back in '87-'88 with the Punch series. They were one of the first that I remember that could handle low-impedance loads and/or tri-mode operation and still rock hard. I remember a Punch 150 running two sets of components and two 15" subs in a full size Blazer, all by itself in tri-mode. It sounded awesome and hit near 150 db, which was a lot 20 years ago. I don't know if the newer Rockfords are any good or not.
Alpine is another one that used to make some high quality stuff. When I sold car audio for Circuit City in the mid 1990's, the V12 amps came out and we carried them. Overall, I thought they sucked compared to the original Alpine products. I tried a big V12 amp on my subs and was really disappointed. Most of my customers weren't thrilled with them either. They actually liked the cheaper Coustic and Hott Set Up amps better. The HSU 2125 was a beast. I'll bet no one here remembers those puppies, lol.
