The flip out bin under the passenger side 2nd row seat has what looks like hooks on all four corners. Is there a specific purpose for these or am I looking for a problem to go with a solution that does not exist?

Yes, you can use perfectly well for garbage bags (or to stop your take-away bag emptying its contents on the floor), but the designers intention was for a storage unit underneath. Follow the link, select Premacy catalogue and look at the top of page 8.

Thanks Scoot, I thought that they looked like a perfect place to hook bungee cords to. I'll have to look a little closer at the bin to see if I can rig something like that up for myself.
Any idea if any of these accessories are going to come to the US market?

I wonder if those mudguards would fit our GT models.

I've test driven the Verisa here in Japan, its a great little car.
Looking at the Mazda USA website, its looks like you haven't got the new MPV yet?
Driven the 2.3 DISI Turbo version and it is a great vehicle. Pretty much like an overgrown 5, with more space in the luggage compartment (even with all seats in use) and nice comfortable 2nd row seats with arm and leg rests). Hopefully you'll get it over there soon.

Thanks for ruining my day :( Man, I wish I had the chance to buy half the stuff I just saw on the site. The storage bags, seat covers, nav/dvd players, etc. How come we can't buy that stuff here!?!?

Rumors- 1) we won't get the MPV, the CX-7/9 replaced it. 2) We get it in 2008. I'd trade in my 5 right now, if we had the new MPVs!!
