roof rack?

anyone have a roof rack on their CX-7? I'm considering getting one (there's a link in the marketplace forum) but I am wondering how it looks with one? And whether it's worth the $209 (rack) + $100 (ski holder) for my snowboards.

when's the order supposed to arrive? what's the site that you ordered it from? my local dealer doesn't seem to carry accessories. i am not sure, but i didn't see any from just looking.

Just got my rack today, and got it installed after work. I'll post some pics...

Note: beware of ebay auctions from dealerships that say they have it when they don't!!!! From personal experience...

I got mine from my dealer...they had it on back order since I bought the CX-7 three weeks ago, and it just showed up Thursday...I tried to buy one on eBay to speed up the process, but they ended up being out of stock.

Still no pix...sorry.

**Now I need some help: I need to figure out which Yakima Mighty Mounts fit it...Yakima has no info yet...any one out there use Yakima stuff??***

I'm at the same point. I need to get both vertical and horizontal Mighty Mounts. The Yakima site it flawed since it won't allow the user to unselect
"Factory Rck = NONE". Let me know if you find out the sizes.

Got mine for Gilroy Mazda Dealer I purchased the car from.

Do not pay them to install these....

They come with good instructions and even the star wrench to tighten the bolts down.

Pop plugs out of rain gutters in roof by pushing in direction of arrows. Some may be too tight and a careful pry with a tiny screwdriver will pop them out without any damage.

Then with the help of another place each bar on roof. They are labled front bar and rear bar.. Right side and left side. Follow these and all will be well.

Once positioned start each bolt finger tight. When all are on tighten with supplied wrench.

Next take bar elbo covers *they are marked for each specific corner so use the correct one" install them by simply pushing them down. The clips in the covers fit into receivers in the bar elbow.

Done. 10 minutes to install....

Your cx-7 looks great. Not normal fan of crome rims but I like those.
Couple of questions.
Does the crome strip on the bumper cover the access points for the tow hooks and what brand of phone mount & how is it attached?
