anyone know if the toyo proxies 4 are good for all season tires?im particularly lookin for tires that will be good for performance and good in snow.price doesnt matter.i dont really want to end up buyin winter tires/rims and just performance onces for all other seasons.yet many people tell me if i just buy the tires and keep the msp rims on my rims will damage cause of the salt they lay down when it snows.any suggestions?

they are awesome in rain, but i wouldnt ride them thru snow. your rims will get jacked.

I would buy winter tires/rims and then regular street tires for your regular rims. Yeah, low profile tires do cost alot, but I have been very happy with my toyos proxes and they have lasted 35k.

Buy winter tires. I bought all season tires for the winter and i ended up going back to the same place and buying winter tires after the first real bad snow storm. Couldnt get up the hill that before my house. Had to wait for the snow plows. Even then i had a hard time. Get winter tires!!!

They are not a MS Tire IMO even if they say they are... Treat them as a Summer only Shoe.

No They Wont.
They are rated based on straight line driving...
Because they are AA Traction and on a FWD car they might last 10,000 Mi..

Sucks but I have to agree, I've been lucky to get 25k out of mine. They did great in the Illinois and New Jersey winters though. Then again, I'm fairly cautious in the snow.

Ive had proxes since october 04, and they are good tires. Good in rain, will get you through light snow and ice. Theyve lasted too, much better than the stock potenzas, but they arent nearly as grippy in dry, and the sidewalls are alot softer.

I tried them once in snow... never again! Most HP A/S tires are 3 seasons tires really. If you want a nice performing winter tire, try the Dunlop Winter Sport M3. It' awesome and feels like an A/S tire with very good traction in the snow.
