So yesterday a flatbed to took my car to the dealership.
Why you ask?
The other night, I came out of the bar, and my horn was honking at random intervals, no one was around my car, and the lights weren't flashing with it. I disarmed the alarm, hopped in and the little red light was flashing fast. So I started the car, and the little light went off.
So the next day, my stock Kenwood deck bit the biscuit, and stopped working. Completely. I can't even take the CD out. The dealer has one on order for me, but said it will be a month getting here. Lovely, no tunes for a month. (And I have issues with being in traffic with no tunes)
I took it out today to investigate, and see if I could put my old Pioneer in, and bought the adapter cable, etc, and then the Pioneer wouldn't turn on (even with a proper install). So I took it out, and went deckless for a little while today.
Well, I discovered that the remote locks were no longer working and the alarm wouldn't turn on. I put the old Kenwood deck back in, thinking maybe the alarm goes through the deck as a relay. No, that didn't fix it.
I pulled the door lock fuse to see if it had blown somehow and it hadn't, so I put it back in, and then the red light started flashing fast. Oh sh!t. I know what comes next.
BEEEEEEP BEEP B-BEEP BEEEEP BEEP BEEP B-B-BEEEP. Completely random. Also, now the starter kill is engaged and the car won't start at all. I had to take the fuse back out to stop the beeping. I reset the computer via taking the battery cables off, put the fuse back in, and it went berzerk again. The fuse is currently out in order to leave my neighbourhood in peace.
