Post a pic. I wanna see what you bought. I'm thinking of importing steering wheels myself.

The aftermarket steering wheel is the one that will come with the 6-hole bolt pattern. A Miata hub will work on the Protege column. May need to grind some corners in order to fit the airbag/horn contact swivel, but they work perfect.

One you have decided which aftermarket wheel to buy, the the hub will tell you if its compatible with the MOMO, Sparco, bolt pattern....most of them are the same. Normally the Miata hub they have for sale will say 98, at least that is the one I purchased.

this is the only pic i have of the adapter. The one with the accordeon cover...the other piece is a quick realease (not needed for the install). The wheel is a sparco with 6-bolts

When dealing with putting a new wheel on, dont you have to cancel the airbag somehow? Was this a hard install to do?
