Hey guys, I dont know how accurate this is but Kelly Blue Book lists 2007 exterior color options as only Red, Silver, Grey and Black. Strange. It seems like they would add colors rather than subtract them, and I also find it odd that White was dropped over the Grey as it seems that Black Cherry and Titanium Grey are the least popular colors. However, if memory serves, the Black Cherry and White Pearl were both extra cost options.

I guess we will see if it is actually true in the very near future. I havent heard a peep about what changes if any we can expect for 2007, and havent seen any information from Mazda regarding the 2007 models.

why would they add more colors?? ms6 was a pretty much a loss leader for the company, only thing that was worse is the rx8.

I wont dispute that, but manufacturers tend to add colors when closing out a model run to spur a few sales without adding costly new features. Just an observation, I dont have hard data to back up my statement. Still, I would think they would remove Grey if anything as it seems to be the slowest selling color.

Funny cause the grey ones are the ones that sold most around here. White was the only extra cost option that I know of. I saw the same thing on Edmunds.com while playing around with my possible payments and Black Cherry and Whitewater pearl didn't come up. I would like to know if there are any changes to the 07's over the 06's. a manufacturer would add something to a line that they are going to change to move the old ones so dealers can actually sell them to make room for the newer model. Audi is notorious for doing this. IN late 04-05 1/2 they came out with the A4 ultrasport package to move more cars since the second half of 05 they updated the body.

I wouldnt be suprised to see to see the 2007's be iPod compatible. I believe Mazda has made all their 2007s come standard with an iPod interface.

what they need to do is put in a mp3 player. Hell even a Civic and a Scion comes with them standard, how can a nearly 30k sport sedan not have them?

An Ipod integrator would be better than an MP3 player...

A CD with MP3 formatted songs on them only holds at a Max 300...

An Ipod ...can we say over 1000+

Glad I got a white one while I could! Makes a nice set sitting next to my 1989 Ford Probe GT (Read MX6) in Oxford White. (first)

I could give a rats ass about this iPod fullishness. Just what I want, a ugly white pos stuck on my dash or in my glovebox.

There's no excuse good enough for me. The car is 40 grand here in canada. The fucking thing should have come with an in dash mp3 player. all the rest of the mazdaspeeds have. It's that friggin pos bose that is the problem....overhyped crap. Jesus if a few guys can make a aux mod for 60 bucks, or even the audiolink for just over a 100.....you mean to tell me the engineers at Mazda couldn't?

Is there a change in the car from 06 to 07?

The salesman that sold me both of my speed6's is a very close friend of mine. So, I can confirm that Whitewater Pearl and Black Cherry Mica were indeed dropped for 2007.

The speed6 is 100% carryover other than that. No iPod jack. No additional options. (I was hoping for the auto-dimming mirror the regular 6 got for 07).

They have 2 2007 speed6 GT's sitting on the lot and I confirmed the above personally.

Auto-dimming mirror (w/ homelink and compass) is an option in the 2007 model.

It's too bad that they did away with the white/black leather option... I really wanted that when I ordered my car.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but on the Mazda site it lists navigation as an option for Sports now...

I wish they had put the navigation in the center console like on the CX-7 in the 2007 model, would've looked much cleaner.

The navi was an option on the sport for '06 as well. I don't think it was very common though.
