This is really pissin me off... After nearly 3 years of worry-free driving (at least, as far as this POS alarm is concerned) it decides to go mental on me. so, after a few days of putting the fuse in upside down (otherwise the horn goes berzerk) then quickly starting it, only to quickly take the fuse out again... and repeat that process every time I start the car, I took it in and they replaced the module. Had the car 2 days... Here am I nearly 2 weeks later and the same BS. except, this time it's even worse. this time, when I insert the fuse (upside down) in order to start the car, the horn goes crazy... car starts, but it's freakin embarrassing as all hell. agh!! wtf?!! I bought a japanese car for its reliability. granted, this has nothing to do with the engine but... bringing a car in for service, no matter what the problem, is an inconvenience no matter what. to make matters worse, my car had about 49k miles on it when I brought it in last... 2 weeks later, I've got 50,032 so... no warranty for me. hopefully they can just take this POS out. alarms are pointless anyway.
So I know this is a pretty common thing with these cars... anyone have any suggestions?
