for sure it's the wastegate internal (the flap inside the turbo) or is it the wastegate actuator? you can try contacting http://www.atpturbo.com/ or pick up a used turbo on this board.

Are you talking about the acuator or the internal wastegate? For one, if its the wastegate inside the turbo, you are screwed. It will cost just as much to repair ir as it will to attempt to replace it. If you just need the actuator, then it'll cost about $300. If you're going to need a new turbo, then you might as well get a GT28rs and make it worth your while.

If you need the actuator check out www.ATPTurbo.com (http://www.ATPTurbo.com). It will cost you way less than $300.The only difference is that the actuator will not have an adjustable rod and will give you about 1 psi more boost.

are you 100% sure its broken. bc my boost started spiking like crazy up to 16 psi. i thought for sure it was the wastegate. but i replaced the vac line from the wastegate and fixed it. my car now runs better than it ever has.

You can get the ATP replacement for $60 shipped. I got one in two days. The OEM one lists over $200.

My actuator broke when i had 25k, it started to make a loud whistling nose like i had a vacuum leak. Brought it to mazda and they replaced the hole turbo. Mazda said they couldnt just order the actuator they had to replace the whole turbo. No complaints here(dance)
