I was wondering if anyone makes a set of SS braided oil/coolant turbo lines for the MSP.

Thanks

I think generic drain and feed lines are fine, but I'm not sure. I would see if a vendor sold a kit to determine if generic lines or ones made with special fittings are needed for the msp

I made some for my car just from bulk hose and then buy thefittings. Looks SLICK as fuck!

I'm using them on my 240, but there was a kit for that car. Were the braided lines easy to work with or a pain in the rear? I've heard mixed reviews. If its not that bad I'll just make them. Any pics?

my experience with DIY braided lines wasn't good, i couldn't get it to look decent and couldn't get it to do what i wanted. I ended up getting a teflon core braided hose cut to the size i wanted from a speed shop, and it worked alot better. This was for my oil pressure gauge install, but if you use AN fittings for the turbo stuff it'd be the same concept i would think.

Then cutting it just wrap the end with Duct Tape or it will fray and then use a high-speed saw or even a dremel or something. Mine look slick as fuck!

i used duct tape and a dremel and still had problems with the ends. It ended up looking fairly good, but the hose ends broke very easily b/c of their rotating assembly, and the hose was so thick for such a relatively small size line that it was a real PITA, for me anywho. The teflon core hose that i got was MUCH smaller outside diameter for the same size inner diameter, it was much more flexible, the end fittings worked well, and it still looks good. Just my $.02, anywho.
