I just won a APC carbon fiber on eBay for $305 and I still need to arrange shipping for it which I am working on. From what I have found on the web, that is pretty damn cheap. Thoughts?

I hear shipping is expensive. But i don't know for sure.

Ya I know but for the price I got it for wouldn't you agree that ain't too bad? Cheapest I can find it for is like $499 + shipping from any retail site.

yes the price of the Hood is a good deal, but shipping I am guessing will be around 130 plus. Just a guess.

Hell I can deal with that. Let's say it is $150. I still got a "new" hood for $455 shipped. (cool)

Get good shipping insurance....And make sure they pack it well, I would offer a few extra bucks for them to take extra measures for the corners (foam it up)

You can find alot of deals just like that on ebay, you always have to calculate cost + shipping, keeping in mind they charge for "Shipping & Handling" and can charge some pretty crazy rates for the "handling" aspect, you have to be carefull (send the seller a question before hand of what the cost will be).

i just bought my g/f a cf hood for her gsr and shipping was like 175, so i said f it and just drove up to new york (about 2 hours) to get it my self.
