First-time poster here. I get a leased car through work and they lease through Enterprise Leasing. I was told that they ordered my 2007 5 the first week of July. How long should I expect to wait for my car??
Thanks in advance for any input.

Probably Late Sept/ early October for delivery if they have to place a factory order.

Yuck!! I didn't want to hear that!! It must have been an '06. Why did you "order"? None available off the lot?

Ordering is almost a given. 5's are flying off the lots, such tht dealers are lucky if they have a couple on the lot! I took me a couple of weeks of looking before I found a dealer that had a 5 with the MTX tranny for me to test drive! and 7 weeks waiting for my car to arrive (dealer swap with a BC dealershp)
Mazda's really been caught unprepared by level of interest in the 5. I read somewhere that Mazda made it's year sales target in the first 6 months of the 5's availability. Seems Americans are starting to realize that they don't need a "suburban" to ferry the kids around!!

When I did the test drive thing I went to two dealerships here in the Cleveland, Ohio area. One had a MTX and two autos. The other had two autos only. These were all '06's (back in the spring).
I thought that the only reason I had to wait to order one was because that it is what Enterprise Leasing does. I am waiting on my Galaxy Gray Manual Touring.

5 month wait
At least it was that long when we ordered.... Heck, it took us a few months to even see ANY strato blue car - once we located one, it ended up being exactly the same car we wanted - except for it being manual (incompatible with my wife).

You are a sick man (or woman).
On a side note-I drove from Cleveland to suburban DC and back this weekend and saw three 5's. Can't say I've noticed that many on the road before.

I'm a healthy male, thanks you very much :p
haha, I wasn't trying to be a jerk with that response, but that's honestly how long I've been waiting :( I'm expecting delivery in about 2 or so weeks, though... I hope!
