Well it has come the time to start looking into doing a custom car audio trunk install on my car- i work car audio install for circuit city so i should be able to do most of the work myself. I am somewhat familiar with fiberglass so that is a possible resource. Just wondering if there are many other msps, proteges, or p5s- or i guess any other car for that matter- that have done some custom audio trunk work... looking for ideas and inspiration :) any pics or ideas posted would be way helpful :) :) :)

mine is boring but clean. i built it in my backyard in a weekend since my fiberglass plans fell through and i had a show the following weekend. mine will have glas, c/f soon enough.

I see.. I dont think it looks bad as is but fiberglass and CF will def bring it out even more.. Good luck with it be sure to post pics when it is completed.

Yes, mine is fiberglass wrapped in black suede. I wanted something that would look & sound good and still leave me some useable trunk space.

does it still bump pretty hard facing sideways like that- i wonder if i did something similar but with a sub on each side?

Yes, it sounds good. I just saw an Acura CL this weekend with a setup that had a sub on either side of the trunk positioned like this.
