Hey, therea are a number of MS certified dealers in my general area. I have been stuck going to one of them as little as possible because of how bad they suck. the other dealers claim that they connot work on an MSP because they are only certified for the MS6 or other MS cars.

I am just wondering if this is a line of crap and they dont want to work on the MSP or if this is really the case. It seems to me that if they are MS certified, and i have an MS car they should be able to MS work on it.

If the work doesn't pertain to the powertrain, they should work on it. What are you trying to have to do?

its possible. In order to be MS certified they had to have a technician trained to work on these specific cars. The dealers telling you know might have just gotten certified for the new generation of MS vehicles. They typically had to pay a lot to get the MS certification so they might have not done this when the MSP came out...

Theres 2 main Mazda dealers in my area. One is MS authorized, the other is not...though the latter has never told me they couldnt work on my car, I would still not bring it to them.
