Hello, I need to find a new roof for my familia, it's an 87 model, pre-facelift Japan market Turbo Cabriolet. Preferably a new skin for my existing frame, as the frame is in perfect condition, but if that is not available, a new roof altogether.
I have had no luck whatsoever searching for it on the net, and as the Mazda Japan site is all in Japanese, I haven't had a great deal of success looking there.
Please help!!

WOW welcome to the forums!!! I've never even heard of a familia convertible. Have any more pictures than your little avatar picture?
Hopefully someone here can get you the info you need, I'm pretty sure this is the largest Mazda-specific community out there. Just don't expect a really speedy response because the majority of the members here are in North America where it's 3AM right now (east coast of United States here).
Once people start waking up you might get the info you're seeking.
One question: is it a vinyl top or a cloth top, and is it insulated? Due to the rarity of the car (at least from my north american perspective) I'm thinking you might be looking at getting it custom made. Is the car very rare in Australia too?

There ya go.. :D
Roof is Vinyl I think, either that or vinyl impregnated canvas, but it doesn't look to be canvas, more plastic-y..

Regretfully that was never offered in the US so I won't be able to provide you any parts for your convertable top. I can probably help you with any of the drivetrain items.
Thanks for the pictures that ia an awesome bit of Mazda history.
