Can I fit 225/50(or45)/17's on the Mazda 6 stock wheel?

People have switched to 225/45/17's on the stock 17x7 wheel with no problems. Not a lot of people have tried 225/50/17.

Yea a 225 will fit no problem on a 17x7. But go with a 45 series tire not 50.

You will need to get your speedo recalibrated.

You'll have to roll the rear fenders for the 225/45/R17 to fit if it's going on a 6.
