I'm thinking about getting a carbon fiber trunk for my MSP. I currently have my sirius antenna mounted on my trunk. Does anyone have it this way on a carbon fiber trunk? If so do you get a good signal and if not where else can I mount it so that it will work (except the roof).

put it on your rear deck inside your car. You may get occasional drop outs but it should not be a problem. I've driven my wifes care with an antenna on the rear deck pleny of times.

There's no reason why you can't mount it on the CF trunk. The only reason that would stop you, is not wanting to drill holes into it.

Reason it wont work is b.c its magnetic, and the cf is not metal, not b.c he doesnt want to drill holes...
BTW used some double sided tape if you really want to put it on the trunk, or as suggested by someone else just put it on the inside in the back window.

if you wanted to keep in on your trunk you could attempt to put something metal on the inside and put the antenna on the outside and see if the magnet is strong enough to go through the trunk. I think the rear deck is the best bet. I would not want to risk scratching the cf trunk

Ahh, I didn't realize that. In that case your best off using the rear deck as suggested.
