I finalized the deal earlier today, now I'm stuck working the graveyard shift before I can go pick it up and take it for a LONG drive http://forum.***************/style_emoticons/default/41.gif

I'm SOOOOOOOOO excited, I can't wait for this shift to end http://forum.***************/style_emoticons/default/38.gif

I didn't get a great deal, but in Canada these cars are going for a LOT more than they are in the states.

The best part was lieing to my friends all day today about how I couldn't get the car, can't wait to show them all tomorrow and see their faces http://forum.***************/style_emoticons/default/32.gif

CRITICAL UPDATE: 8 hours remaining http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/cool.gif (only 3 more hours of work, then I can get at least some sleep). Well I'm gonna try, but it sure feels like christmas eve.

At least I'm getting it at the beginning of my weekend so I have a few days to spend some quality time with it.(humpleg)

EDIT: Liquid Platinum Metallic (Silver), just a Sport model. I'm actually not a fan of leather, but the smart key and moonroof would have been cool. I can live without those things though, as I'm already stretching the budget :)

Ya, I think this one has been on a couple test drives (in addition to mine). I don't remember exactly, but I think it had ~300 kms on it. So who knows what went on during those drives, but I certainly plan on taking her easy until 1,000 kms.

Although I've heard of both the "take it easy" break-in technique and the "drive it like you stole it" break-in technique. Most new cars are pretty much broken in in the factory anyways so I'm not too worried about it.

That's exactly what I got, I really like the cloth seats. You're going to love this car! I feel for you having to wait like that tough!
