My general motto is,
Either you die young, or you're bad-ass enough to disappoint them, kick their asses, and outlive them.

I might be older than you, but I still have all my hair. Age 32 for me, wife is 25.
I would also come back with "at least my car is RUNNING", but of course, my cx-7 is at the dealer for a busted rear camera. Actually off to go get it now. 3 weeks to get that fixed.

If I wasn't laughing so hard, I'd be offended that 44 and over is all combined as an age group. Yet I'm happy to be in that group.
Note that we go all the way up to XXX (ughdance)

I don't officially count yet as I won't be getting one till September most likely. But for the count of "interested and soon to be owners".....I turned 41 in June and I am female.
G-Papi
08-14-2006, 12:04 PM
The CX-7 seems to have a broadbased appeal across the age spectrum. I wonder what the ratio of males to females is. (Not counting guys who are just allowed to drive).

I fit under the "guys who are just allowed to drive" category. :(
Perhaps I need to just get my own.

LOL!!! I feel ya on that one. I bought a 1992 Ford Escort in 1996 I think or the end of 1995 and it was a straight "BUCKET". But, it was my "bucket" though. I called it my "Lady Bug". I was so proud. I had a sense of accomplishment because I got it all by myself.
Now, that I think about it...I felt that way about my CX-7 too because it is my FIRST Brand new car.
wow i bought my own car when i was 18 and it was used as hell!! LOL

LOL a 1992 in 1996? Try driving a 79 pinto in 1989, or a 76 Duster in 1990. LOL. Now THOSE were there real POS! LOL

Hey everyone, I have been lurking on this site for awhile now, and figured I would join the gang. I'm 24 and was a previous 2005 Mazda3 owner, and now have the honor of driving a 2007 Crystal White Pearl AWD GT Mazda CX-7 w/Bose Moonroof package. I will post some pictures of my previous car and the CX-7 which I have had since November, 2006.
Please if anyone needs to email me please feel free.

I actually really like the CX-7. I don't know if I could compare the two vehicles because they're totally different... and its tough right now as my S2000 is parked for winter, so I haven't driven it since October.
I think what really impresses me about the CX-7 is how well it does actually handle for how big of a vehicle it is. You can still toss it around and drive like a bit of a moron and it's fun.
But I think comparing them would be a bad idea... the s2000 is a pure drivers car. From the steering, handling, shifter, all of those components go so well together. I was really close to buying a porsche cayman S to replace the S2000 until I realized that for twice as much money it really doesn't offer any more fun, and in some ways the driving experience in the S2000 was better anyway.
